The death has occurred of
MARGARET CASHMAN
(née Guerin)
MARGARET CASHMAN (née Guerin) Park Street, Midleton, Co. Cork.
On February 8th 2026 peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Geraldine (Lane), Michael and Denis, sister of Mary (McCarthy), Helen (Scanlon) and the late Annie (Spriggs) and Thomas.
Sadly missed also by her grandchildren Zoe, Ross, Michael, Daniel and Emma, great-grandchildren Rory, Maeve and Grace, daughter-in-law Jennifer, Denis’s partner Michelle, brother-in-law Pat, sister-in-law Clare, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours, home carers and friends especially Mary-Rose and Marie.
May Margaret Rest in Peace.

Margaret’s family wish to acknowledge and thank Fidelma and her team at the McAuley Day Centre, Midleton Hospital, Karen and her team at the Alzheimer Society, Dr. Tim and his team in Ballincollig and also the staff at St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy for the wonderful care afforded Margaret by all involved.
Margaret will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Wednesday 11th from 5pm–6.30pm.
Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Thursday 12th for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
