On 19th of October 2025, Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exemplary care of all staff and nurses in the Camilla Unit, St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West.
Pre-deceased by her parents John and Margaret Madigan and sister Catherine O’Connor.
Dearly beloved wife of Donie and mother to Edel, Donal and Lucia. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Cian, Seán, Ollie and Noah, son in law Jack, daughter in law Lorna, sisters Mary O’Donnell, Geraldine Hayes, Bridget Madigan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Riedys Funeral Home, Newcastle West, on Tuesday 21st October, from 6pm to 7.30pm. Arriving at St. John The Baptist Church, Castlemahon on Wednesday morning 22nd October for 11.30am requiem mass. Burial afterwards at Castlemahon Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West.
