We are saddened to announce the passing of our Aunt - Margaret (Daisy) Hoare nèe Madigan late of Shanagolden and Kilburn UK who passed away peacefully in the excellent care of Bluebell Unit, St Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West surrounded by her family, friends and wonderful carers on 4th March 2026. Age 95.

 

Pre-deceased by her Husband Pat, Brothers Tom & Pat, Sisters Joan & Sr. Loretta FCJ.

 

Daisy will be sadly missed by her many nieces & nephews, cousins, relatives and large circle of friends in Shanagolden, St. Ita's & Kilburn especially David & Mary.

 

May Daisy’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

 

In keeping with Daisy’s wishes her remains will arrive to Shanagolden Church on Saturday 7th March for 12 noon mass (and will be live-streamed, link to follow) followed by burial afterwards in Shanagolden Graveyard.
