Margaret (Finnie) McCarthy
(née Coppinger)
On December 12th, 2024, Margaret ‘Finnie’ passed away peacefully at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. Beloved daughter of the late John and Hannie Coppinger, Ards, Bantry and dear sister of the late Tom. Sadly missed by her loving children Bev, Karen and Peter, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Kayleigh, Thalia, Rhys, Lucia and Zoe, great grandchildren Amelia, Levi and Beau, sisters Sheila, Mary and Teresa, and many nieces and nephews.
May the Universe be open and receptive to you Finnie.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre for the love and care they provided to Margaret these last years and particularly these past weeks.
Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday Dec. 15th from 5.30pm to 7.00pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday Dec. 16th, at 12.30pm at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here), burial afterwards in Kilmacomogue Cemetery..
