MARGARET HOARE (née Kane) 23 Henry Street, Roscommon Town and formerly of Strokestown, Co. Roscommon and Bruse, Co. Cavan. December 8th , 2025. (Peacefully); at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Mick, her grandson Kevin, her parents Pat Kane and Molly (Comiskey), and her siblings Michael, Mary, Annie, Pat and Catherine (at infancy) Kane, John, Seamus, Peter and Francie Comiskey.

Much-loved mother to Kitty (Manorhamilton), Pat (Castlebar), Michael (Doonbeg), Marie (Mullingar), Paul, Teresa, Declan, Dervilla, Shane, and Sinéad (Roscommon) and mother-in-law to Gerry Hickey, Bernie Morrissey, Kevin Kelly, Úna Ní Chuinn, Anthony McCormack, Anne Hardiman, Noel Beattie, Sharon Mulryan and John Flanagan.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her adored 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and carers.

May She rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening (Dec. 9th) from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday (Dec. 10th) at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
