Margaret James of 11 Montgomery St, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on August 22nd, 2021, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth and cherished sister of Rose, Willie and Robin.

She will be sadly missed by her loving brothers, sister, sisters-in-law Nora and Sandra, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, Margaret’s Funeral Mass (50 people) will take place in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, on Tuesday at 11am and will be followed by her burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Margaret's funeral cortège will leave St Clare’s Church and travel along The Barrow Track and Montgomery St., en route to St Mary’s Cemetery at 12 noon approximately.

Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.
