Margaret Kane
Margaret Kane, LDS LRCP&SI of Church Street, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on 17th March 2026, surrounded by her family in St Vincent's University Hospital. Beloved wife of Sten Mathews and mother to Conor, Ian, Stephanie, Fergus and Wuzzi (Orlaith). Deeply regretted by her sister Gerry, her sister-in-law Eugenie, brother-in-law Frank, daughters-in-law Carole and Tanya, son-in-law John, her 9 grandchildren and extended family and friends. Predeceased by her daughter Martine and her adored parents Eddie and Agnes.

Margaret will repose at Flannery's Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town on Tuesday 24th March from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from the family home at Church Street on Wednesday morning 25th March at 9.40am walking via Healy's Hill and Main Street to St Patrick's Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am after which Margaret will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery
