Margaret Keaney

Margaret Keaney (née Nee) Lehenagh and Canower, Cashel Co. Galway.
The death has occurred peacefully in the care of Stroke Unit UHG surrounded by her loving family on the 3rd of March 2024 after a short illness borne bravely.

Predeceased by her husband Josie (2022), parents John & Barbara Nee.

Sadly missed and deeply loved by her heartbroken family, daughter Ann Walsh (Kilmaine), Catherine Canavan (Kilkerrin) and Susan Stanley (Moycullen), sons, Joe (Carna), John & James (Cashel), sons in law Brendan, Colm, Ros, daughter in law Una, grandchildren Donna Owens, Aron, Niall, Orna Walsh, Zoe, Jack, Dylan Stanley, Aisling Keaney and great granddaughter Fiadh Owens, sisters Mary Nee, Barbara Joyce, Ann Ronan, Bridie Crawford, brothers J.J & Mairtin Nee, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in law, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at St James' Church Cashel, H91 A0P9, on Tuesday the 5th of March from 5pm - 7:30pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday the 6th of March 2024. Cremation will follow at a private service in Shannon.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Patients Comfort Fund at St Annes Stroke Unit UHG.
