Margaret Lyons (née Lynch) (Killumney, Ovens, Co. Cork) Margaret passed away peacefully on August 19th 2025 at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John, brothers Br. Dan (Pallottine Fathers) and Ted, sister Sr. Zita (Bon Secours). Sadly missed by her loving family, Noirín (Kiely), Donal, Conor, and Marguerite (Dooley), sister Kitty (Doocey), brother Charlie, sister-in-law Maree, sons-in-law Con and Seamus, daughters-in-law Claire (O’Leary) and Claire (Purtill), her adored grandchildren John, Sinéad, Eoin, Maria, Aoife, Noreen and Aisling, her great-grandchildren, Tommy, Eoghan and Emily, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig Thursday (21st) from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Friday (22nd) in the Church of St John the Baptist, Ovens, which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/ovens. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
