Margaret (Madge) Fitzgerald
(née Smyth)

Margaret (Madge) Fitzgerald nee Smyth passed away peacefully at home in her 101st year, surrounded by her loving family. Madge is predeceased by her husband Stephen, and her brothers and sisters. Madge will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Anna (Hayes), Maureen (Hearne), and Caroline, and her son Jackie. Beloved grandmother of Aoife, Ciara, Stephanie, Caoimhe, Gearóid and Michael, adoring great grandmother of Amelia, Laoise and Nathan. Madge will be fondly remembered by her sons-in-law Richie and Mike, and daughter-in-law Noreen. Nieces and nephew, relatives and many friends and especially her dear friends John, Vera and Kim, and great neighbours.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Askeaton (V94 X29T) for prayers on Wednesday - 25th February - evening at 6.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday – 26th February - at 11 o’clock followed by burial at Lismakeara Cemetery.
