Margaret (Madge) O’Byrne (née Lyons) (Clonskeagh and formerly of Irishtown) – October 20th, 2024, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Sycamore Unit at Clonskeagh Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Sam O’Byrne and much-loved mother of Declan, Brendan, Myra and the late Carol Ann.

Sadly missed and remembered by all her loving family, brothers Noel and Pat, sister Maeve, daughters-in-law Janice and Cecily, grandchildren Caoimhe, Conor, Eoghan, Stephen, Helen, Ian, Gemma, Bébhinn, Órlaith and Áine, great-granddaughter Remi, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

We would also like to remember at this time, Madge’s late sons-in-law Michael and Derek and her late granddaughter Aislinn.

May she Rest in Peace

Madge will repose at the Mortuary Chapel at Clonskeagh Hospital (D06 CX81) on Wednesday evening (Oct 23rd) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Removal on Thursday morning (Oct 24th) to the Church of the Miraculous Medal, Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh (D14 VP11) arriving for 11am Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
