Passed away peacefully, under the exceptional care of the wonderful staff at Ballinderry Nursing Home, Kilconnell, on Thursday 11th of December 2025, in her 97th year.

 

Predeceased by her brother Paddy, sister May and brother-in-law Tommie McDonagh.

 

Madgie was much loved and will be sadly missed by her nephews Martin, John, Tom & Billy McDonagh and nieces Mary Hynes, Margareta Fahy, Freda Murphy, Teresa Hannon, Ann McDonagh and her dear cousin Mary Burke (who shared the family home).

 

Deeply regretted by her grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces, relatives and dear neighbours.

 

Madgie will lie in Repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Friday 12th of December from 6pm – 7.30pm.

 

Madgie’s funeral cortege will arrive to St. Patrick's Church, Bullaun (H62YH66) for Requiem Mass on Saturday 13th of December at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
