It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing

of Margaret (Mags) Buckley (nee Barry)

on April 14th 2025.

Daughter of the late Eddie and Mary Barry.

Mags was a devoted wife to Seamus and a cherished mother to Chris, Jenny and Sonia.

She will be sadly missed but remembered with great fondness by her loving family, sisters; Una, Maureen and Tricia, brothers;John, Eddie and Paul,sons-in-law Tommy and Tom, her adored grandchildren; Abby Kate, Isla, Zack, Jamie, and Saoirse, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours, work colleagues and her large circle of friends.

May Mags Rest In Peace

Mags will repose in Hannon's Funeral Home Doneraile on Sunday evening, April 20th from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers.

Reception into Christ the King Church, Shanballymore for Requiem Mass at 2pm on Monday, April 21st 2025.

Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The Buckley family would like to extend a special word of thanks to everybody that helped and supported Mags on Monday evening, particularly Mags' HSE colleagues, the Community First Responders, the Air Ambulance service, An Garda Síochana, Fr Aidan Crowley and finally to the Lehane family and their neighbours who showed great kindness and compassion to both Mags and her family. Your help and support was very much appreciated
