Margaret Mahon

MAHON (née McGreevy), Margaret (Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and formerly of Ardlavagh, Carrick-on-Shannon and Woodside, New York) passed peacefully with her family present on September 23rd, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at The Hermitage Clinic, Lucan.

Beloved wife of Denis, adored mother of Kevin, Joseph, Gráinne, Mairéad and Denise, and the most wonderful grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, and lovingly remembered by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Margaret’s warmth, kindness, faith and laughter touched everyone who knew her, and her love for family was without bounds. She will be remembered always with joy and gratitude by those whose lives she brightened.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (September 25th) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning (September 26th) at St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown, D20 H362, arriving at 10 am, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Glencullen, D18 R998.
