Margaret Maloney
(née Lawless)

Margaret Maloney of Shudane, Newcastle, Athenry and formerly Ballyboggan, Athenry, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on the 13th of March 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom (2016), her parents John and Julia Lawless and her infant brother Michael.

Sadly missed and deeply loved by her heartbroken family, daughters Mary (McLoughlin, Chicago) and Siobhan (Shudane), sons Michael (Chicago), Joe (Chicago) and Oliver (Shudane), son in-law John, daughters in-law Theresa and Shirley, Siobhan’s partner Mattie and Joe’s partner Laura, beloved sister of Anne Keane (Ballyboggan), grandchildren Mary Agnes, Megan (Kyle), Joe, Derek, Daniel, Erin, Mikey, Stephanie, Ian and Alicia, nieces, nephew, cousins, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Friday, 15th March, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle, Athenry (H65E789) on Saturday, 16th March, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards to the New Cemetery, Athenry.
