Margaret Mannion
(née Patterson)

The death has occurred of Margaret Mannion (nee Patterson), Creggs Road, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway and formerly of Williamstown, Co. Galway on 28th October 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. 

Beloved wife of Seamus (Jimmy) and devoted mother to Carmel Fitzpatrick (New York), Sinead Devine (Frenchpark and Boyle), John (Galway), Brian (Virginia, Cavan) and Gerard (New York). Loving Granny to her grandchildren, Tommie, John, Jane, Theresa, Ryan, Ciara, Gareth, Aaron, Elizabeth, James, Claire and  Hannah.  She will be greatly missed by her sister, Chrissie; sisters-in-law, Therese and Mary; sons-in-law, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Tommie Devine and Stephen Donohue; daughter-in-law, Siobhan; nieces  nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Community Centre in Glenamaddy, Co. Galway on Saturday from 3.30pm to 6.30pm with removal from her home on Sunday to St. Patrick’s Church for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm. Mass can be viewed at the following link: www.bit.ly/Margaretmannion 

Burial afterwards in the Old Cemetery.  House Private please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice Foundation (https://galwayhospice.ie).  For those who cannot attend, you are welcome to leave a message of condolence below for the family.
