Gleeson (Née Collins), Margaret Mary, Roundwood, Cappamore, Co. Limerick, formerly of High Street, Newport, Co. Tipperary. (Former principal of Newport Boys National School). 11th August 2023, Peacefully in the wonderful care of the Staff of Milford Hospice surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late James P. Gleeson. Predeceased by her son Kieran. Much loved mother of Mairéad, Shane, Noel and Micheal, sister of Eileen, John and the late Michael. Sadly missed by her loving family, son in law Gerard, daughters in law Maria, Niamh and Ailish, grandchildren Emma, Gearoid, Sean, Ronan, Darragh, Molly, Brendan, Sinead, Kerry-Ann and Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Sunday 13th August from 5 to 8 p.m. Arrival to St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore on Monday 14th for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. which can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/cappamore. Burial afterwards to Rockvale cemetery, Newport. Family flowers only please donations if desired to Milford Hospice.
