Maeve passed away peacefully at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester on 26th February 2026.
Maeve, beloved wife of the late Paschal Joseph, dear mother of Maria, Fintan, Kathleen, Paschal, John and Maurice and loving Grandmother of Rachael, Louise, Cara, Jessica, Lily, Martha and the late Emma and Kieran.
Sadly missed by her sons and daughters, grandchildren, brother Sonny, sisters Philomena, Chrissie, Frances and Carmel, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by her brothers Tom-Joe, Fr. Fintan and Oliver and sisters Cepta and Ita.
Maeve will be in the Chapel of Rest at C L Birkett & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday 25th March (appointments only).
Maeve's Funeral Mass will take place at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church, Stretford M32 9PD on Thursday 26th March at 1.30 pm with burial afterwards at Urmston Cemetery M41 9HF
