Margaret McCarthy

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret, peacefully in Talbot Lodge Nursing Home, Malahide, on Saturday 18th  February 2023.

Formerly, Psychiatric Public Health Nurse, Ex St. Stephens Hospital, Glanmire, Cork. Pre-deceased by her parents Cornelius and Peggy, her siblings Josephine (Joy), Con and James, her brother-in-law Barry, sister in-law Shelia and niece Elizabeth. Deeply mourned by her nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, her God-daughter Eithne (O’Brien) and God-son Pat (Mc Carthy), her wonderful neighbours in Springfort, her work colleagues, her good and faithful friends,
especially Ann Norman.

May Margaret Rest in Peace

Margaret will repose at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh, Eircode P24 Y383 on Tuesday 21st  February 2023 from 5.00 p.m. with prayers at 6.00 p.m. followed by removal to St. Colman's Cathedral, Cobh. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 22nd February 2023 at 11.30 a.m. followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
