On February 27th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, Margaret passed away peacefully at home.

 

Beloved wife of Dick and much-loved mother of Joanne and James. Adored and cherished Gran of Róise, Fíadh, Caragh, Moya and Oisín.

 

Predeceased by her parents John and Ann, her sister Clair O’Sullivan, and her niece Eileen Stack.

 

Margaret will be very sadly missed and forever lovingly remembered by her devoted and loving husband, daughter, son, son-in-law Kevin Horgan, daughter-in-law Nina, her treasured and much adored grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews John, Aiden and Roger O’Sullivan, her grandnephews and grandnieces, especially Michael and Louise Stack, extended family, kind neighbours and her many dear and loyal friends.

 

The family wish to express their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to Dr. Liz Barry and all the staff at Barryscourt Medical Centre, Carrigtwohill, for the exceptional care, compassion and kindness shown to Margaret.

 

May Margaret Rest in Peace.

 

Margaret will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Sunday 1st March from 6.00pm to 7.30pm, followed by removal to St. John the Baptist Church, Lisgoold.

 

Funeral Mass on Monday 2nd March at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in Lisgoold cemetery.
