Margaret McCrae

McCrae (Kinsale) Margaret passed away peacefully in the Cork University Hospital, on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Pat & Infant Son John, much loved mother of Louise (Mc Donnell), Gordon, Patrick and adored grandmother of Shauna, Conor and Abbie.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter-in-law Deirdre, son-in-law Ian, Conor's partner Dawn, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, Goddaughter Bernedette, life long friend Carmel & The Fisher Family England, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Margaret will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Wednesday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm. (Parking is available in Supervalu Car Park by kind permission - max 2 hours).

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale after which Margaret will be laid to rest in St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale.
