Margaret McHugh

Capparaney, Turlough, Mayo

Margaret (Maggie) McHugh nee McHale, Capparaney, Turlough, Castlebar and late of Muckanagh, Parke, Castlebar, Wednesday 22nd December 2021, peacefully at Mayo General Hospital.

 

The dearly loved wife of Paddy and much-loved mother of Ann, Margaret, John, Teresa, and Patricia, sons-in-law Tom, Michael, Ger, and Des. Also a cherished grandmother of Aine, Maria, Mairead, Maeve, James, Laura, Michelle, Sarah, Aisling, Ailbhe, Jack, Gavin, and Lisa.
Sadly missed by her sister Norah Devaney (Castlebar), Martin McHale (England), brother-in-law Johnnie McHugh (Turlough), and sisters-in-law Maria McHugh (Turlough), Bridie McHale (Foxford), Agnes McHale (Foxford), and all her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by her brothers John, Tommy, and Jimmie, sisters Annie-Mary and Bridgie.

Reposing at Thomas Street Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Thursday, 23rd December, from 4 pm - 6 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 24th of December, at 12  noon in St Joseph's Church, Keelogues, with burial afterward in Parke Cemetery.

 

In keeping with HSE guidelines mask-wearing and no handshaking in Church or Funeral Home. Please observe social distancing at all times. The family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time.
