Margaret (Monty) Farrelly

The death has occurred of Margaret (Monty) Farrelly, Drumina, Virginia, Co. Cavan, on December 16, 2021, peacefully, at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Hugh Joe and her sister Babs. Much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbour and friend.  Monty will be very sadly missed by her sons and daughters; Thomas, Dessie, Dolores, Gary and Gloria, her sister Anne Falvey (Bantry), her brothers Owen (Oldcastle) and Mattie (Trim), her daughters in law Anne, Nuala and Helen and her son in law Gerry, her adored grandchildren Emma Jane, Niall, Dylan, Lauren, Leah, Grace, Blathnaid and Sorcha, Kate, her nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and ex work colleagues in St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home (A82YV58) on Saturday evening from 4pm until prayers at 8pm. Removal on Sunday, via Dunancory Bridge, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Lurgan, for Funeral Mass at 3.30pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
