MURPHY(Cork) On 26th April, 2024, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family at The Cork University Hospital, MARGARET (nee Morey) Baker's Road, Gurranabraher. Dearly beloved wife of Jimmy and much loved mother of Stephen and James, loving sister of Bernadette and the late Elizabeth (Liz), Kathleen, Emily, Diana, Rose, Martin, Barnie, Derry, Davey and William.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sons, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (1st May) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (2nd May) at 11.00am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Funeral afterwards to St.Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Mercy Foundation and The Irish Cancer Society.
