Margaret (Nancy) Downes

Downes Margaret (Nancy), (Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and late of Enterprise Ireland) June 28th 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of Bartra Northwood Nursing Home, Santry, in her 97th year, surrounded by her nieces Karen, Lisa and Sheila. Beloved daughter of the late Eileen and John and sister of the late Ayleen and John. Nancy will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Marlene, nieces Karen, Lisa and Sheila and their husbands Niall, Billy and Stephen, special grand aunt to Rachel, Lorna, Hannah, Niamh, Claire, Sarah and the late Stephen and Graham and great -grand aunt to Lyla and Zack. Nancy will be fondly remembered by a large circle of family and friends, especially her close friend Sandra and her wonderful neighbours of Merrion View Avenue.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road on Tuesday 1st July from 2.30pm to 4pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 2nd July to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Deansgrange Cemetery.
