MARGARET O’CALLAGHAN(née Mulcahy) Hillside, Lower Aghada and formerly of Hill Road, Whitegate).
Margaret passed away peacefully on March 16th 2026 surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork after a short illness, borne with the dignity and courage that carried her through her 82 years.
Reunited for eternity with her beloved husband Willie, her precious sons Finbarr and Henry, her sisters Eileen, Clare and her beloved twin Ann.
Margaret will be deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her sons David (Susan), Kieran (Shelly) and Anthony (Fiona), her brother Pat and sisters-in-law Mary and Helen.
Adored granny of Katie, Leah and Liam (their Mam Caroline), Kalem (his Mam Marie), Daniel, Conor, Róisín, James, Finbarr, Jade, Billy, Alfie, Daisy, Luke and Maeve, great-granny Mag to Ronnie, Darragh and Layla.
Sadly missed also by her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and cherished circle of friends especially her lifelong friend Eileen.

A special mention of thanks to Dr. Eoghan Deasy and staff at Harbours Brink Medical Centre, Lower Aghada Pharmacy, Marymount Homecare Team and the staff at C.U.H. for the care and attention given to Margaret.

Reposing at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Tuesday 17th from 6.30pm – 8pm.
Reception into St. Erasmus Church, Aghada on Wednesday 18th for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery, Whitegate.
