Margaret O'Connor
(née Murphy)
O’CONNOR (Uam Var, Bishopstown, Cork): On June 5th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the gentle, loving care of the staff at Oak Ward, Farranlea Community Nursing Unit, MARGARET (née Murphy, formerly of Knocknagree), dearly loved wife of the late John, loving mother of Denis, Eleanor (O’Connell) and Marie (McCarthy) and dear sister of the late Sonny.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Maria, sons-in-law Peter and Paul, loving nana to Lucy, Aileen (Myers) and her husband Bill, Helen, Sean, Jennifer and Ellen, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Saturday (June 7th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (June 9th) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
