On 20th November 2025, Margaret (neé Sugrue) O’Neill, aged 98, formerly of West End, Castletownbere, peacefully in the excellent care of St. John’s Home, Northampton. Beloved wife of the late John O’Neill and much loved mother of Anne, Paula and Shane. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Margaret Sugrue, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Greatly missed by her children, daughter-in-law Jen, son-in-law Duncan. Adored grandmother of Liam and Daniel O’Neill, his partner Rina and great-grandmother of Ciara. Sadly missed by nephews and nieces of the Sugrue and O’Neill families and her wider circle of family and friends.
Requiem Mass at 12.30pm on Monday 12th January 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Welwyn Garden City, funeral afterwards at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. John’s Home Northampton
