O’Neill (nee Connell). Margaret, Abbert, Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, County Galway, 16th March. 2026. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff in St Patrick’s Ward, University Hospital, Galway.

 

Predeceased by her husband, Danny and other family members.

 

Deeply regretted by her son Mattie, daughters Marion Broderick, Margarita Doyle and Carmel Ruddy, sons in law Richard, Robert and Darren, sisters Mary Hussey and Bridie Rabbitte, brother in law Jimmy O’Neill, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Margaret will repose in Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 RW94) on Wednesday 18th March 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with removal afterwards to St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60). Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday 19th March 2026 in St Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60).at 12 noon, following which Margaret will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Danny in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.
