Margaret passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at her residence on St. Patrick's Day, 2024.

 

Beloved wife of the late John and much loved mother of Eugene, Helen, Bridget (Ballantyne), Margaret (Kennedy), Angela (Brennan), Denise (Healy), John and Brendan, her cherished twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

 

Deeply missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Jim, Michael, Kevin, John and the late Humphrey, daughters-in-law Kate and Christine, sister-in-law Agnes, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant (P51 N2NP) on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm with Prayers at 8:00pm.

 

Reception into St. Joseph's Church, Liscarroll on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at noon, after which Margaret will be laid to rest in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Buttevant.

 

 

The family would like to thank Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork University Hospital (CUH), Dr. Sheena Murphy and the Palliative Care Nurses for the wonderful attention and kindness shown to Margaret during her time spent in their care.
