The death has occurred of
Margaret (Peg) Gilleran
(née Cronin)
Peg Gilleran, of Rosewood, Ballincollig, and formerly of Mary Street, Cork, passed peacefully on February 18th 2025, at Cork University Hospital, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mick) and devoted mother of Michael, Donal, Teresa (Downey) and Aidan. A much-loved mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children, treasured grandchildren Eoghan, Aoife, Mark, Conall, Luke, Ava and Jack, daughters-in-law Deborah and Grainne, and son-in-law John. Peg will also be missed by a wider circle of family and friends.
Peg will be lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig (P31 W982) on Friday (21st) from 6:00 pm followed by prayers at 7:00 pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (22nd) at 11:00 am in St. Marys and St. John’s Church, Ballincollig which will be livestreamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig.
