Margaret (Peg) Kenny
(née Whyte)

Peg was surrounded by the love of her family at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Peg was born in Rathea, Listowel, Co. Kerry, Ireland to Edmond Whyte and Margaret Sheehy. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and friend to all. She hardly ever met a stranger.

Peg is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Kevin; sons Kevin P. (Nicole) of Weston, FL and Eddie (Wendy) of Owensboro, KY. Her pride and joy is her family, including grandchildren, Erin, Kevin, Katie, Joey and Clare, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to treasure her memory are brother, Sean Whyte, sisters Mary Heaphy, Elizabeth O’Connor, Anne Fitzmaurice, Eileen Sheehy, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, Bridie, and brothers, Paddy and Msgr. Eamonn Whyte.

A memorial Mass will be held in Rathea Church at a later date.

She now belongs to two Kingdoms – the Kingdom of Kerry and the eternal Kingdom of God. She will be sorely missed and her memory treasured by all who knew her.
