The death has occurred of Margaret (Peg) MOLONEY, née Leamy

Moloney, née Leamy (Ballydorgan, Fermoy, Co. Cork and formerly of Inchinleamy, Ballyduff, Co. Waterford) peacefully, on Sunday, 17th December 2023, after a short illness bravely borne, in her 81st year, surrounded by her nine children, at her home in Ballydorgan. Peg, predeceased by her husband, James (Jim) and infant brother John.

Loving mother of Catherine, Mary (O’Brien), Brigid (Gowen), James, William, Margaret (Dunlea), Teresa (Feeney), Anne, and Helen (Collins), and mother-in-law to their husbands/wives/partners, Joe, Eddie, Bertie, Michelle, Anne-Marie, Damian, Seamus, Fergal and Adrian. Adored and adoring Nana to her twenty-eight grandchildren, Stacey, Daniella, James; Liam, Aidan, Shane; Lee, Seán, Mark; Jane, Michaela, Vivienne, Alexandra, Michael-John, Joanne; Rosanna, John; Elizabeth, Joshua, Victoria, Benjamin; Ethan, Maya; Caoimhe, Lilí-Mae; Dan, Kate and Tom, brother Pad Leamy, sister-in-law Joan, nieces, Goddaughter Joanne, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Peg will repose at Ronayne's Funeral Home, Patrick Street, Fermoy (P61 WT21) on Monday, 18th December 2023, from 4.00pm until 7.00pm followed by removal to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Coolagown (P61 KF76). Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 19th December 2023, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to Coole Abbey cemetery. (Near Castlelyons). Requiem Mass may be viewed on:
