The death has occurred of Peggy Bruen (née McKeown), Drummullagh, Omeath and formerly Gyles Quay, October 29th 2023. peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, her sisters Phil and Josephine and her brother Pat. Loving mother of John, Ann, Paul, Siobhán and Raymund and doting grandmother to Megan, Dylan, Olan, Daragh, Ruairí and Luca. Sadly missed by her family, sister-in-law Rene, Paul’s partner Karen and family, daughter-in-law Lisa, sons-in-laws Tom and Roland and nieces and nephews.

Reposing at her residence (Eircode A91 DP11) for friends and neighbours to call from 1.30pm Monday. Removal on Wednesday morning, proceeding on foot (weather permitting) to St. Laurence's Church, Omeath, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Irish Lung Fibrosis Association.
