Margaret (Peggy) Croke
(née Healy)

Formerly of Cross Street, Galway City.

On the 6th of January 2026, Peggy passed away very peacefully in Maryfield Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Dermot, grandchildren John Melville and Dawn Croke, her brothers and sisters.

Peggy will be sadly missed by her daughters Caroline Melville and Donna Croke, sons Tony, Vincent, Richard, Aiden and Damien, daughters-in-law Anne (Donegal), Ann (Corofin), Finola (Galway) and Deirdre (Moycullen), son-in-law Mike Melville, her 18 cherished grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law Aiden Croke and Raymond Croke, sisters-in-law Maura Flaherty, Ann Downey and Madge Healy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, her large circle of family and friends, especially her very good friend Libby.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Tearmann Mhuire, within the grounds of The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91 XC61), on Thursday the 8th of January from 4pm until 6:30pm. Removal to the adjacent church for mass at 7pm. Peggy's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 9th of January in The Church of The Immaculate Conception Oranmore, at 11am. Peggy will then be laid to rest with her beloved Dermot, in Renville Cemetery Oranmore (H91 V0FN).

Peggy's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks,
