Margaret (Peggy) Grufferty
(née Boland)
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Grufferty, née Boland, known affectionately as “Peggy”.
Margaret (Peggy) Grufferty, née Boland, London and formerly of Slattamore, Rooskey , Co. Roscommon, 11th May 1932 - 20th June 2024. Now reunited with her husband Christopher.
Predeceased by her husband Christopher, sister May & brothers Thomas, Gerald, Michael, Patrick & Eugene.
Sadly missed by her sister Josephine (Josie) Feeney, sisters-in-law Mairead Grufferty, Eileen Boland, brother-in-law Tom Grufferty , nephews, nieces and extended family members.
Peggy passed away peacefully on Thursday 20th June 2024, aged 92. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
The funeral cortège will travel via Slattamore by Peggy’s family home to arrive at St. Anne’s church, Slatta on Friday evening, July 5th, for 7:30pm. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilglass new Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to County Roscommon Disability Support Group CLG C/O Tully’s Funeral Directors, Slatta, Kilglass, Co. Roscommon.
