The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Higgins (nee Donlon), The Shop, Killasolan, Mountbellew, Ballinasloe, County Galway. Peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital on November 18th in her 91st year. Devoted and Heartbroken Wife of the Late Bernie (October 19th 2021) Peggy will be deeply missed by her sons Michael, Hugh and John, daughters Bernadette and Kate, adored grandchildren Caoimhe, Maeve, Orla, Hannah, Alex, Conor, Jack, Tom and Brian, daughters-in-law Marianne and Irene, sons-in-law Pat, Paul and Niall, sisters in law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Margaret (Peggy) is also predeceased by her sister Maureen and Nonie, and brothers Johnny, Tommie, Mickey, Barney, Pat, and Jimmy.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Peggy will repose at Caltra Community Centre on Saturday, November 20th, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Peggy’s funeral cortège will leave her home at 12:30pm on Sunday afternoon for mass at 1.00 O’Clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Caltra, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. All those attending are asked to please respect social distancing guidelines and family wishes.
