On January 10th 2025, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family, MARGARET (PEGGY) (nee Slattery), St. Fanahan’s Place, Mitchelstown and formerly of Skeheen, Mitchelstown.
Loving mother of Helen (O’Connor), Christine (Surgey), Gretta (O’Connell), Anne (Hyland), John, Matthew, Noely, Billy and Michael.
Dear sister of John (Kilworth) and the late Bridget Power and Willie and loving mother-in-law of the late Breeda.
Sadly missed by her loving family, husband Noel, sons-in-law Mike, Cian, Pat, Shaun, daughters-in-law Tina, Mag, Marie, Angie and Mattie’s partner Mairead, 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Anne and Peggy and brothers-in-law Miko, Ted, Bill and Eugene, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, carers and friends.
May Peggy Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, on Sunday evening (12th January) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Peggy’s Funeral cortege will travel from her residence in St. Fanahan’s Place via Church Street, Upper Cork Street and New Square on its way to The Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown on Monday (13th January) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the Adjoining Cemetery.
