O’BRIEN (Chalwood, Blarney, Co. Cork) On November 19th 2025 peacefully in the wonderful care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Cork University Hospital, MARGARET (PEGGY, née O’Halloran); beloved wife of the late Jeremiah (Jerry) O’Brien, loving mother of Carol (Stanley) and Jackie (Maguire), sister of Jenny (Bradford), Kathleen (Riordan), Eileen (Harte), Michael O’Halloran and the late Timmy O'Halloran.

Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Claire, Brian, Emma and Mark, great-granddaughters Rosie & Maya, sons-in-law Trevor and Jim, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Patsy (Harte) and Pat (O’Brien), sisters-in-law Phyllis and Bridie, relatives, very kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Thursday, November 20th, from 5pm – 6pm with Prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, November 21st, at 1pm in the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Blarney. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Curraghkippane.
