The death has occurred of
Margaret (Peggy) O'Rourke
(née McGroarty)
O'Rourke, Cobh and Spike Island, formerly of Bellavista, on the 24th July 2019, peacefully surrounded by her loving and devoted family and in the tender and loving care of all at Glendonagh Residential Home, Dungourney and recently under the excellent care of Dr Harry Kelleher and all at Cobh Community Hospital.
Peggy (Margaret, nee McGroarty) beloved wife of John and much loved mother of Derry (Rocky), Angela (Ward), Niall, John, Brian, Claire (Hallahan), and Ian, dear sister of Damien, Carmel (Keenan), Jimmy, Martin (Sonny) and the late Neil, Johnny, Dessie and Paul. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, sister, brothers, her 17 grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh (P24 Y383), on Friday, 26th July, from 5pm with Rosary at 7pm. Reposing on Saturday from 10.30am with removal at 11.15am to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cobh Community Hospital.
