Margaret (Peggy) O'Rourke
(née McLoughlin)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) O’Rourke, (née McLoughlin), Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of Corrabarrick, Keshcarrigan, Co. Leitrim, peacefully, on 17th April 2026, in her 93rd year, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill.

Predeceased by her husband Peter, and her sons Brian and Paul.

Peggy will be sadly missed by her family, her son Danny and her daughter Sheila, son-in-law Tommy, cherished grandson Matthew, sister-in-law Annie McLoughlin, nephews, nieces, and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Lough Erril Nursing Home (N41 XE39), on Sunday 19th April, from 5pm until 7pm. Arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Aughrim (N41 PV29) on Monday 20th April, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Aughrim Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to the Resident Comfort Fund, Lough Erril Nursing Home, c/o Dermot Foley Funeral Director.
