The death has occurred, in her 78th year, of Margaret (Peggy) Smith (née Hernon), An Rian, Annagassan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Peggy, beloved wife of the late Noel. Predeceased by her son Noel, sisters Patricia Meehan (Dromiskin), Mary Kearney (Kilsaran) and brother Oliver Kinahan (Dromiskin). Sadly missed by her daughters Caroline and Lorraine, sons Shane, Paul, Brendan and Emmet, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Alice (Ellis) and Anne (Crosby), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

A private family funeral for Peggy will take place due to Government advice on public gatherings, with numbers limited to 10. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning at 10,30am to Saint Finnian's Church, Dillonstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Clonmore Cemetery. 

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Peggy by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the church and the cemetery.
