The death has occurred of Margaret Porter, née Lavin, Cregg’s Road, The Quay, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Porter’s Shop, O’Connell Street, Ballymote, Co. Sligo.

Peacefully, at her daughter’s residence.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy and son Michael.

Sadly missed by her daughter Marian Moran, son-in-law Mattie, daughter-in-law Maggie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56 VH92), on Friday from 5:30p.m. to 7p.m. with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote (F56 XA59) for 8p.m. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2p.m. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery. Margaret’s Mass will be streamed on ballymoteparish.org
