The death has occurred of Margaret Rice (née O’Shea). Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, Cork on the 1st of February 2026. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her loving husband John, sons Richard and Sean, daughters Kathleen and Helena, sisters Breda, Cáit, Maura & Sheila, brother Paudie. Sadly missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Margaret is pre-deceased by her parents Padraig and Catherine, her father-in-law Dick and mother-in-law Kathleen, her brother Micheal and her brother-in-law George.

Reposing at Quill's Funeral Home Kilgarvan on Tuesday the 3rd of February from 5:30pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at Saint Patrick's Church, Kilgarvan on Wednesday 4th of February at 11am. Mass will be live streamed on Kilgarvan Parish Facebook Page. Burial afterwards in local cemetery. Family flowers only and donations in lieu if desired to Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. House Private please.
