Margaret Rooney
(née Duffy)
Margaret Rooney, née Duffy, Mountbagnal, Riverstown, Dundalk and formerly of Tonaneave, Magheracloone, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in the Louth County Hospital, after having been wonderfully cared for by the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home,18th November 2023. Margaret, much loved wife of the late Gerry, daughter of the late Peter and Katie, dear sister of Peader, PJ, (Magheracloone), Patricia, (Kilmainhamwood), Nancy (Australia) and the late Pat, Mickjoe, Kathleen, Breda, John, Eileen and Brian. Margaret will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friend.
May She Rest in Peace
Reposing at her home from (A91NT26) 2pm to 8pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday afternoon to St Mary’s Church, Lordship, arriving for Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Lordship Cemetery.
