The death has occurred of Margaret Scollan (née Doherty) Shrewane, Fenagh, Co.Leitrim and formerly of Drumdoo, Mohill, Co.Leitrim Wednesday 14th January 2026 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the Staff of Medical 1, Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her Beloved husband Michael, Parents Michael and Elizabeth, Sisters; Mai, Lily and Bernadette, Brothers; Thomas and Sean, Nephews; Michael and John, Niece Margaret and Brother in law Tom.
Deeply regretted by her loving family Niall, Killian, Francis, Conor, Ceara and Mairéad, Daughters in law Mary, Nuala and Joette, Son in law Terry, Adored Grandchildren Aaron, Jarláth, Cormac, Shane, Darragh, Alisha, Evan, Annaliese, Michael, Eoin and Cian, Sister in law Anita, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Margaret's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim (N41 TD62) on Friday January 16th from 6pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Mary's Church, Foxfield (N41 RC99) on Saturday at 2 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Fenagh Abbey Cemetery.
