Margaret Scully
(née Vaughan)

Scully: Cappanagoul, Freemount and formerly of Ballyhoulihan, Boherbue. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, Margaret, in her 99th year passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Teach Altra Nursing Home, Newmarket. Beloved wife of the late Dan. Predeceased by her sisters Kitty (O'Keeffe), Nellie (O'Shea), Annie (O'Sullivan) and Mary Vaughan, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Margaret will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her sister Nora (McCarthy), many nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Margaret, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Newmarket on Friday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by reception into St. Michael's Church, Freemount. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon which will be live-streamed on https://sites.google.com/view/life-is-a-river/home. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kanturk.

Margaret's family would like to take this opportunity to thank her home carers Samantha, Karen, Joanne, Maureen and Ciara. We would also like to thank Dana and staff at Teach Altra Nursing Home, Newmarket for the wonderful care shown to Margaret.
