(née Hogarty)

Templeogue, Dublin / Tallaght, Dublin

SMYTH, Margaret (nee Hogarty). September 8th, 2021 (Cypress Downs, Templeogue and formerly of Springfield, Tallaght and Thomond Road, Ballyfermot) (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend to Jim and loving and devoted mam to Siobhan and Rachel; Margaret will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, husband, daughters, son-in-law Jamie, grandchildren James, Sam and Max, sisters Sylvia, Ann and Martina, brothers Tony, Jimmy, Derek, Noel, Patrick, Andrew and the late William, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a Funeral Mass with 50% capacity in the Church of St. Jude the Apostle, will be held. Those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass due to the current restrictions please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of the page. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the St Vincent’s Hospital or The Irish Cancer Society.

 

Margaret’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 12pm in the Church of of St. Jude the Apostle, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.
