Wallace Margaret. Galway Road, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on the 25th of February 2024, in the care of University Hospital Galway.

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Maureen and Mick, by her sisters-in-law Mai & Siobhan and by her brother-in-law Paul Hanley.

Fondly remembered by her sister’s Anne Hanley (Athenry), Josephine Dolan (Ballyshannon), brothers Patrick (U.K), Mike (Corofin), Sean (Gort), Christy (Limerick), Val (Gort), Tom (U.K) and Gerard (Gort). Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Teresa, Debra & Ally, brother-in-law Larry, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Margaret will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Wednesday evening, February 28th, from 6pm. Removal at 7.30pm to St. Colman's Church, Gort. Requiem Mass Thursday, 29th of February, at 11am. Margaret will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman's Cemetery, Gort, alongside her dear parents. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Gort Social Services Centre.

Margaret’s family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Margaret in her final years, Dr. Richard Joyce and the staff at Gort Medical Centre, Joan and all the staff at The Little Flower Nursing Home, Labane. Finally, a special word of thanks to our wonderful family, neighbours and friends for all they have done to help us in these difficult days.
