The death has occurred of
Margaret Walsh
(née O'Donovan)
WALSH (Cork) On March 23rd 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and friends and in the exceptional care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital, MARGARET, (nee O’Donovan) late of Liffey Park, Mayfield. Beloved mother of David and Gerard and devoted nan of Noah. Loving daughter of Tony and the late Eleanor and much loved sister of Anne, Anthony and Trevor. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, niece Courtney, nephews Rian, Corey and Finn, brother-in-law Patrick, sister-in-law Lorraine, Gerard’s father Gerry, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (26th March) with family in attendance from 5.00pm and Rosary Prayers at 6.00pm. Burial to take place on Wednesday (27th March) at 11.30am in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Margaret from the staff at the Cork University Hospital and the friendship and compassion shown to Margaret from her very close friends Linda Forde, Caroline Rodgers, Linda McCarthy and Trudy Morey.
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Marymount Hospice.
May she rest in peace.
